Top Headliners get Contracts Extended at Stratosphere and Tropicana

Two headliners and true showmen, vocalist Frankie Moreno and “Murray Celebrity Magician” have signed on the dotted line to extend their contract at major Strip resorts. Through October 2015, Moreno will continue at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. Backed by his 10-piece band, Moreno’s fast-paced production show has become one of the must-sees on the Strip. He was named “Best All-Around Performer” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal for 2012. Showtime is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. with tickets a reasonable $39.99, plus tax. Las Vegas locals and Stratosphere hotel guests are in their seats for just $19.99, plus tax. VIP seating is available for an additional $10. For reservations, call (800)-99 TOWER (998) 6937. Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas Properties “Welcomes Veterans Back to the High Life

Through Labor Day weekend, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, Flamingo, Harrah’s and Imperial Palace, all Caesars Entertainment resorts, have joined forces with Miller High Life to honor veterans with affordable drink specials. For each Miller product sold at select bars, the cap or tab will be kept and 10 cents will be donated to provide veterans with a variety of “High Life” experiences, such as throwing out the first pitch at a pro baseball game to unique access at motor sports events. Miller branded beverages will be priced at $1 or $2 and must be paid in cash to participate. The promotion is valid daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September 3, 2012.

The D Las Vegas Offers Sigma Derby Horse-racing Game

One of the rare old slots that are almost impossible to find on any casino floor, Sigma Derby, the 1980’s horse-racing game is ready for play on the upper-level Vintage Casino of downtown’s D Las Vegas. In fact, it is the only downtown casino to offer it. The Sigma Derby table has been refurbished to its original look, including the signature canopy.
