It’s always nice to see a top rated Las Vegas show for nothing! Flamingo’s headliner comedian George Wallace is inviting all active first responders with a valid badge or ID (police, firefighters and emergency personnel) to be sitting in the audience for free throughout the rest of the year. Each qualified responder will receive one complimentary ticket. Wallace performs Tuesday-Saturday at 10 p.m. and all ages are welcome to attend his performance. Penn & Teller Celebrate 20 Years in Las Vegas with Six Year Extension at Rio
Comedy-magic duo, Penn & Teller, who are celebrating their 20th year performing in Las Vegas, have announced that they have extended their contract until 2018 at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Penn & Teller play nightly (dark Thursdays and Fridays) at 9 p.m. with tickets going for $75, $85 and $104.50. The higher priced tickets come with VIP/Ampersand Seating. Downtown’s D Las Vegas Introduces New Steakhouse and Comedy-Magic Show
Opening within the last couple of weeks at downtowns D Las Vegas is Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse. The new dining spot with roots in Detroit has nine locations in Motor City. Fresh seafood, Italian favorites and juicy steaks is what this new eatery is all about. The menu is complimented with an array of more than 80 wines. The D has also launched LaughterNoon, a comedy-magic show starring Adam London involves lots of audience participation and plays at 4 p.m. daily. Rockhouse Kicks off two Midweek Promotions
Rockhouse, newly located at The Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes has launched two midweek specials. Beginning Wednesday, February 20, party-animals can participate in “Winner Circle Wednesdays,” a weekly Beer Pong tournament from 7 p.m. to close. Winners will get their five minutes of fame by being included in the venues “Winner Circle Hall of Fame.” Patrons can also play billiards, foosball, darts and corn hole, anytime at the ultra-dive bar. Another promotion for Wednesday is “Flip it to Win it.” Customers will flip a customized Rockhouse coin to win half-priced cocktails, plus munch on “Wing Wednesdays” buckets and kick back bottled beer buckets, both priced at $19. Every week, Prohibition Thursdays turns the Rockhouse into a classic speakeasy where guests can gain access with a password that will be given out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram letting revelers in the doors for half-priced cover charges and $5 cocktails from 7 p.m. until closing. Las Vegas Ready for Exciting NASCAR Weekend
NASCAR Weekend 2013 will be revving up their motors March 8-10 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tickets range from $25 to $69, depending on the day you go, but if you want to live it up check out the seating in the Earnhardt/Petty Terrace, but be prepared to shell out $245 per seat. Boyd Gaming Corporation’s Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall will return as title sponsor of the 16th annual Sam’s Town 300 at the speedway on March 9. The resort will be holding daily NASCAR related events throughout the weekend such as silent auctions and a concert. Vegas is the Place to be for March Madness
One of the biggest events each year in Vegas is March Madness, in fact the first weekend of the NCAA Basketball Tournament is the second busiest weekend for sports in Sin City and it’s never too early to start making your plans if you want to be in town for all the excitement. Sam’s Town Hotel Gambling Hall is offering a 3-Point room package deal for hoop fans beginning at $49 a night which comes with a deluxe room, a bucket of beer, and viewing of all the college basketball action shown inside the Race & Sports Book. The package is valid March 19-23, March 29-31 and April 5-7.
